Here is a Lionel 6-18303 O Gauge Amtrak GG-1 Electric Locomotive #926 - Repainted. This engine headed up the Amtrak Aluminum Passenger Set from that year. It features a diecast metal body, dual Pullmor motors with Magnetraction, a 3-position E-unit for transformer controlled forward, neutral, and reverse, operating pantographs, and headlights at both ends. Also, it has 20 diecast wheels with 12 powered drives, detailed diecast metal trucks, a metal chassis, and two operating knuckle couplers. It does not have any sounds or electronics.
This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-5: Professional Grade based on visual appearance. This locomotive has been repainted but still has the same body scheme/road name as the original; the road number decals have been changed. There is visible bleeding in the paint along different areas of the body. The pantographs show light signs of tarnish & one of the insulators is missing. There are scratches and chips in paint along the body. The wheels show average signs of wear. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
