Here we have a Lionel 6-7611 O Gauge State of New York Boxcar #7611. This car is the from the famous Lionel Bicentennial Set from 1974-76. The complete set includes the 1776 U36B Diesel, 13 boxcars numbered 7601 through 7613, each one commemorating one of the original 13 states in order of their admission to the Union, and the 7600 Caboose. This is a very sharp set and the decorations are attractive and well done. This car features a very durable plastic construction with sliding doors, molded details, plastic trucks, metal wheels and axles, operating knuckle couplers, and attractive decoration.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The wheels show average run-time. The original box is included.
