Here is a powered Lionel 675 Vintage O 2-6-2 K-4 Pacific Diecast Steam Locomotive & 2466W Tender. This locomotive features a diecast boiler shell, a three position forward-neutral-reverse remote control E-unit, operating puffing smoke, an operating headlight, an aluminum smokestack, Baldwin disc drive wheels, diecast trailing truck and an ornamental bell. A matching 2466WX Lionel Lines whistle tender is included featuring diecast trucks, a coil knuckle coupler, whistle and metal wheels.
Brought onto the scene in the late 19th century and continuing use into the early 20th century, the 2-6-2 was a durable little model with some even surviving through the first World War seeing continued use in smaller capacities. These models were used for a variety of purposes from hauling coal loads to pulling smaller passenger cars. The North American model soon became known as the "Prairie" model and would quickly become a favorite in rail-yards around the world!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-4: Fair based on visual appearance. This item appears to have been run, and displays overall signs of previous heavy use and storage. The previous owner colored in various spots on the locomotive with Sharpie. A corner on the roof of the cab is bent. A piece of a rear wheel is chipped off. There are nicks and scratches on the shell and chassis of this item. There are various spots of paint loss on the locomotive and tender. There is pitting and rust throughout the locomotive. The chassis and other metal parts show spots of rust and discoloration. The wheels show signs of heavy run-time. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Fair.
