This is aMTH 20-3058-1 N&W 4-8-4 Unshrouded J-Class Steam Loco & Tender #605 with PS2 from 2001. During WWII Norfolk and Western did not streamline its five new 4-8-4s built in 1943 due to steel shortages (they received their shrouds after the war ended). Features include a precision flywheel equipped motor, a constant voltage headlight, an operating firebox glow, an operating tender back up light, illuminated cab interior, operating marker lights and protosound 2.0 with freight yard proto effects. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The wheels show average run-time. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis.
