When Steve Worack saw few companies offering advanced electronics for model railroads, he founded Circuitron in 1970. His first products included roof-top locomotive strobes, a grade crossing detection unit, a flasher, and a hand-held throttle. Within two years, Wm. K. Walthers carried his products, and Steve had developed around ten circuits and over a dozen accessories. Through magazine advertisements, Circuitron became known nationwide and continues today to innovate and distribute model railroad electronics worldwide.
