This is a B.T.S. 27226 Cabin Creek East End Grcy. Cabin Creek Series. Mining and Lumber Town Buildings. The small grocery store helped rural America change from a farming community to an industrial center. The railroads, mills, and mines had long workdays which left little time for working the fields and gathering crops. A small garden was about all that could be handled. The grocery store stepped in and conveniently provided folks with the dry goods, vegetables, and meat products needed to sustain life. The look of prosperity came to Cabin Creek with the opening of the East End Grocery back in '09. East End was the meeting place for the locals, and the great service was always present. The original owner finally sold out to Barry Franklin after the second great war and the new owner continued on in the same fine tradition of service. Today, the store stills serves the community with a good assortment of groceries and the latest town gossip. This new kit consists of laser-cut basswood, plywood, and cardstock, adhesive-backed shingles, signs, and basic interior components including counter, wood shelfing, and assorted boxes and barrels. The tabbed, well-engineered construction provides easy assembly. The footprint is about 18' x 34'.
