This complete HO Scale set will be a highly accurate model of the railway equipment to be featured in the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Included are a British prototype 4-6-0 steam locomotive and tender, two styles of passenger cars with international hook and loop couplers, exclusive nine and three-quarters snap-together building kit, 56 x 38 oval snap-fit EZ track, and UL listed power pack.
Introduced in the 19th century and further used during the 20th century, the 4-6-0 was a popular model thanks to its reliability and impressive stability when hitting speeds near 100mph. The 4-6-4 also referred to as a "10-wheeler" would eventually find its way in rail-yards around the world from the US to Finland, and even running the Cape Gauge in South Africa!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are a few small bubbles in the paint on the passenger cars. All the wheels show light wear from previous use. The track sections show minimal wear. There is a bit of dirt residue on some of the underframes and other components.
