This is a Herpa 420976 HO Scale Assembled Imola Red BMW Alpina B3 Limousine. New type! For more than fifty years, Alpina in Buchloe has been producing automobiles for special requirements in friendly cooperation with BMW in Munich. Herpa, too, has started to produce miniature models based on Alpina originals as early as the 1980s, and has been manufacturing such miniature models for the last forty years. This series is currently complemented by the new Alpina B3 with its striking front part, redesigned rear end, and the beautiful Alpina Classic rims. Initially, the model will appear in Imola Red as well as in Black Sapphire Metallic with fine gold trim stripes. True to the original, the Alpina lettering also features on the front of the miniature.
