This is Kato 106-6142 N TTX 5-Unit Stack Car w/APL Cont. N Gunderson MAXI-I double stack well car TTX #750764 with APL 40' containers. TTX leasing (originally known as the Train Trailer Company) is owned by many major railroads and hires out its cars for use all across North America. TTX has over 210,000 rail cars in service, 92-94% of which are in use on any given day, making this MAXI-I 5-unit articulated well car a common sight on any railroad

Its key features are:
Stable operation with or without container loads due to Kato’s innovative heavier material steel compound plastic used for the construction of the well cars
Each container has a magnet and a metal plate to hold it securely to the well car bottom or to the top of the lower Kato container
The MAXI-I has resilient plastic connectors between the wells that allow for easy connecting and disengaging for both operation and storage
Each TTX MAXI-I Articulated well car consists of five wells and includes 10 APL 40' magnetic intermodal containers

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. A few trim pieces are bent. There is minor wear on the wheels from previous use. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. One truck has been reinstalled. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Excellent.
