This is a Lionel 352 Operating Icing Station from 1955-57. The icing station loads small clear plastic ice cubes into specially designed refrigerator cars. You manually load the ice cubes with the loading chute and then position the reefer car that has a specially designed roof ice hatch so when the little ice man pushes the cube with his paddle, the roof hatch opens on the car allowing the ice cube to drop in to keep that load of fruit in the PFE reefer fresh! It measures 9 inches tall x 11 inches long x 4 inches wide.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. There are scratches, nicks, and rust stains. There may be missing trim pieces. This item has some dirt and dust spotting.
