Here is a Lionel 6-1384 Southern Express Set. This set includes a Southern 2-4-0 Steam Locomotive, Southern Air-Whistle Tender, Canadian National 2-Bay Open Hopper, Republic Steel Gondola with canister load, Union Pacific Flatcar with Stakes, Southern Caboose, 4150 Transformer, 90-Degree O27 Crossover, (4) sections of 10.25 inch O27 straight track, and (12) O-27 curved track sections. The locomotive features plastic construction with a motor, operating head lamp, metal side rods, metal wheels and axles. The tender and freight cars feature plastic construction with plastic trucks, fixed knuckle couplers, and metal axles. The tender also features metal wheels while the freight cars feature plastic wheels.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The caboose is not in the box. The locomotive and cars have some scratches and nicks on them. The blue car has a crack in the shell. The track has been used and has black fleck to the railing. The transformer is missing one of the caps for the wiring. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included. The box has some edge wear, light creases and small tears. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Excellent.
