This is a Lionel 6-2316 O Norfolk & Western Operating Gantry Crane from 1983-84. This is the not-too-well-know MPC remake of the 282 Gantry Crane and it is somewhat harder to find than you may realize. Gantry Cranes are one of Lionel‘s greatest accessories. You can rotate the cab right or left, raise and lower the hook all by remote control. This model did not come with an electromagnet.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are scratches, scuffs, and spots of paint loss across the surface of this item.
