Here is a Lionel 282 Vintage O Bucyrus Erie Remote Control Gantry Crane. This is one of Lionel's greatest accessories. The 282 gantry crane includes an electromagnet. The cab rotates left to right, and the crane arm moves up and down, all controlled by remote. Enjoy hours of loading and unloading freight on your layout.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. This item shows heavy scratches, nicks, and paint loss in various areas of the body, detail pieces, and base. The wire is worn, cut, and is wrapped in electrical tape. The shell of the car is unattached and comes loose very easily. The cord to the crane is snapped and one is missing. The remote has lost its screws, causing the bottom to no longer be attached, and the levers have lost the top parts. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
