Here is a Marx 25225 Vintage O Streamline Electrical Train Set. Included are a Steam Powered 999 Locomotive, New York Central Tender, N.I.A.X. #256 single dome tank car, Baltimore and Ohio #254000 Gondola, New York New Haven and Hartford #3200 Boxcar, and New York Central #20102 Caboose. Also included are 3 sections of 9 inch straights, 1 section of 9 inch uncoupling track, 8 sections of O27 curved track and No. 709 Transformer. The locomotive features diecast construction, metal side rods, metal wheels, motor and metal handrails. The rolling stock features tinplate trucks, metal wheels, metal axles and wedge couplers. Included is an, "Uncouple Here" sign.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The locomotive was tested and runs very intermittently. This unit is being sold as-is. There is rust present on the top part of the tank car, on wheel assemblies, as well as on the track sections. There is dirt and grime buildup on all of the units. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. There are scratches on the bodies of the cars as well as on the transformer. The braided wire cable is unraveling on the transformer. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
