Goods would typically be stored in this building until the local merchants could pick up their items and make delivery by wagon or truck. This is a backdrop model kit. It is designed to go against the back of your layout against a backdrop or wall. It is a half building split at the peak to provide interest on your model layout in a narrow space. The structure can be built with or without the dock. The two are completely separate. It is also possible to combine two kits to make one freestanding structure.
