History repeats itself in this 28-inch-long, 1:25 scale replica of the famous Civil War locomotive used in the daring Andrews Raid of 1862. The event was portrayed on the big screen in Buster Keaton’s silent comedy “The General” and Disney’s “The Great Locomotive Chase”. Fully detailed as it was a century ago, this kit has full color molding in black, red, grey, tan and brass finished parts. The full length display stand with rails, ties and roadbed comes with a name and builders signature plate. Color decals and fully illustrated assembly instructions complete this museum quality plastic model kit. It is composed of over 300 authentic pieces that are molded in color to match the real engine, which can still be viewed on display in the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History.
