This is an MTH 30-2274-1 World‘s Fair Subway 4-Car Set with PS2.0 from 2002. Included is a #9750, #9625, #9624 and a #9751. While not the first municipal subway system, the New York Subway System is among the world‘s greatest. Serving the boroughs of New York City, the subway transports millions of people each year under the auspices of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The subway is as much a symbol of New York City as are the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Empire State Building. Features include durable ABS intricately detailed bodies, metal wheels, gears and axles, overhead interior lighting, (2) precision flywheel equipped motors in powered unit, locomotive speed control, directionally controlled headlights, die-cast truck and each car measures 12 1/2 inches long.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The engine is non-functional due to a bad motherboard and is being sold As-Is. #9751 has a blown bulb. These items show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
