This is a Tamiya 70268 Infrared Remote-Control Unit. This infrared remote control unit is great for use in robotics and other creations. The controller features two sets of 9 buttons (red and blue), plus a mode button. It can control up to two motors, and if you purchase two units, you can control two different models in the same area at the same time. It can also be setup to provide commands only when a button is pressed, or continuously until cancelled, and other functions allow balance of left and right motor output, as well as programming of the unit to receive commands from household appliance remote controllers like for your television. The receiver is pre-assembled and wired. Batteries are sold separately.
