This is an HO Scale Brass United Models Union Pacific 0-6-0 Steam Locomotive and Tender. The locomotive features al brass construction, a smoke stack, a decorative bell, a horn hook coupler, metal side rods, metal wheels and axles. The tender features all brass construction, brass trucks, a horn hook coupler, metal wheels and axles.
Upon its introduction during the 19th century, the 0-6-0 would quickly become one of the most widely used models in many rail-yards due to its versatility becoming a favored unit over its 0-4-0 and 0-8-0 counterparts. With their ability to operate on both heavy and light railways, the 0-6-0 would become a staple in rail-yards all over the world!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There is solder in some of the joints. The unpainted brass body shows spots of discoloration and light tarnish. The wheels show light wear from minimal previous use. When tested, this runs on DC. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
