All of those fancy details and trim left an impression, even on the kids. There was always a stop at the hardware store. Mom could spend all day at Smith's, where they had nice clothes. Kids would dream about the toys at the dime store. And the folks never could say no when they begged for ice cream! Main Street hasn't changed much over the years and stores like Argosy Booksellers are built to last. Buildings tell a lot about your layout, especially in a business district with colorful signs that set the time and place. Modeling this important feature is easy with Argosy Booksellers because it combines a business on the first floor and apartments of offices on the second and third floors - typical of buildings constructed in the late 1800s through the 1930s and still in use today.
