Here is an American Flyer 312 Vintage S PRR 4-6-2 K5 Steam Locomotive w/Pennsylvania Tender. It features Die Cast construction, an operating headlight, 3-position reverse unit in the boiler, smoke and choo choo unit is mounted in the tender, realistic design, and a powerful motor. The K5 was one of AF's most popular steam engines in the early Postwar Era. The included tender features tin-plate construction, tin-plate trucks with metal journals, knuckle couplers, metal wheels & axles.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The wheels show average run-time. There are nicks and scratches on the surface of the shells and chassis. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. This item has been tested and was overall functional at the time of testing. A loud grinding sound emitted from the item, and the item took a moment before it jolted forward and ran while smoke puffed from the smokestack on the loco. There was no choo-choo sound, however. Overall condition is Excellent.
