Daniel Railway Lines Standard Gauge Pennsylvania Railroad GG1 Passenger Train Set Set Includes: 1 Powered GG1 Electric Engine: The locomotive is equipped with twin spur drive heavy duty dual motors. The dual motors are McCoy underfloor trolley motors with cast side frames. These AC motors only drove the 2 center wheels in the 6-wheel power trucks. The bodies are made of a resin called Alumalite which had the texture of Bakelite and the resilience of aluminum. The frame is metal. The loco has front and rear operating headlights plus red marker lights. The pantographs can be raised and lowered and utilzed with overhead catenary systems. The locos are fitted with Lionel 3 position E-units to facilitate reversing. 3 Passenger Cars: 2 Coaches (Strasburg #1781, York 1782) and 1 Observation (Observation #1784), These cars are constructed of heavy plastic and steel. The passenger cars feature full interiors and illumination.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This item cannot run due to zinc rot. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included. This item has been serviced by our repair department. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information.
