This is Kato 3-518 E5 Hayabusa 4-Car Add-On. E5 Shinkansen Hayabusa bullet train 4-car add-on set with additional power car. The emerald green E5 Shinkansen (bullet train) entered service in 2011, offering high speed service between metropolitan Tokyo and Shin Aomori in the northernmost tip of Japan. With a top speed of 320 kph (nearly 200mph), it has earned the nickname Hayabusa (Falcon). Being one of the newest bullet trains in service, it's filled with cutting-edge technology to ensure that it is both environmentally friendly as well as quiet and smooth despite its high speed - with its unique aerodynamic design, fully enclosed and skirted trucks, high pantograph covers to reduce noise and a counterbalanced suspension that tilts and sways in curves to maintain a smooth ride.
