Here is an LGB 25570 G Scale Pennsylvania F7 A Unit Diesel Locomotive. Between 1949 and 1953, the Electro Motive Division (EMD) of General Motors built an astounding 2,366 F7-A diesel locomotives. Boasting 1,500 horsepower and a handsome Bulldog nose, the F7 was and still is the classic icon of diesel railroading in America. On the great Pennsylvania Railroad, The Standard Railroad of the World, F7's often wore the line's elegant Tuscan Red livery. You can add that classic color to your layout with this big LGB model. Two Bühler-powered trucks provide remarkable pulling power. Add an F7 B-unit (25582) for authentic digital sound. This detailed replica features weather-resistant construction, opening cab doors, three-way power control switch, protected gearboxes with two seven-pole Bühler motors, six powered wheels, one traction tire, twelve power pickups, built-in speaker (for use with LGB B-units), voltage stabilization circuit, automatic directional lantern, and two multi-purpose sockets with circuit breaker. Measures 23 inches long.

This item is in overall excellent condition, free of broken trim pieces. One of the trim pieces on the end of the item is bent. The window inserts show scratches on them. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included.
