Here is a Lionel 238E Vintage O Pennsylvania Torpedo Steam Locomotive & Tender - Repainted from 1936-38. The locomotive features metal construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, a smoke unit, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. Features for the tender include painted metal construction, a rear box coupler, metal grab irons, tinplate metal truck sides with metal journal boxes, and metal wheels and axles.
This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-4: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item did not operate when tested, and is being sold as-is. This item displays light scratches and paint imperfections across the body and underframe. Spots of surface rust are present on the underside of the locomotive, primarily on the front pilot truck and around the gearbox. One of the number plates on the side of the cab is slightly dented. The wheels and rolling pickups show signs of average use. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
