Here is a Lionel 347 Vintage Standard Gauge Electric Set: 8, 337, 338 first manufactured in 1926. Included are the 8 Electric locomotive, 338 observation car, the 337 coach, a Lionel Multivolt Transformer, 8 sections of curved track, and 2 sections of straight track. The locomotive features a motor, 2-position reverse unit, operating lights, metal construction, metal combination couplers, and metal wheels and gears. The passenger cars feature metal construction, tinplate trucks with journals, opening doors, interior illumination, metal couplers, and metal wheels and axles. Each measures approximately 14 inches in length.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. The wheels show average run-time. There are nicks and scratches on the surface of the set's shells, chassis, track, and transformer. The metal surfaces of all included items have areas of rust and/or corrosion; most notably the included track, transformer base, and components of the train car's chassis. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included. Tested Operation: The locomotive's motor (forward & reverse) is functional. The locomotive's roof-mounted lights are not functional. The observation and coach car's interior lighting is functional. The transformer's functionality has not been tested. Overall condition is Good.
