This is a Lionel 6-24548 Canadian National FPA-4AA Unit Diesel Set #6765/#6767. Beginning in the mid-1940s, the FA diesel became the American Locomotive Company’s top-of-the-line freighter. Upgraded with an Odyssey System ON/OFF switch and the Magne-Traction track gripping system, the Lionel FA diesels pull even harder. New for 2005, this replica of Canadian National’s exclusive freight/passenger version of the FA, the FPA, joins the roster with accurately reproduced side vent details. Matching non-powered B-unit also available. This set includes: One powered and one non-powered A-unit.
