This is a Lionel 28519 Northern Pacific GP-9 Diesel Locomotive from 2001. Perhaps the most colorful of all Postwar GP’s, the 2349 takes its rightful place in the Lionel Postwar Celebration Series. First produced in 1959, the Northern Pacific’s intricate paint schemes challenged Lionel designers of the day. Enjoy it now, in all its colorful glory, updated with today’s technology. Features include a pullmor motor, trainmaster command control, a molded plastic body, a stamped metal frame, die-cast metal trucks, magne traction, operating headlights, directional lighting, interior lighting, railsounds, electrocouplers, metal handrails, a die-cast fuel tank and a die-cast pilot.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The wheels show average run-time.
