Embellished with bright ornamentation, this evocative set will bring Christmas past right into the present. Heading the train is a 2-4-2 steam locomotive and tender. Completing the colorful consist is a candy cane tank car, a present dump car with tilting bin, and an observation car carrying Santa himself! Included is a #261-type locomotive and tender, #654-type tank car, #659-type dump car with tilting body, #601-type observation car with Santa figure. The locomotive features transformer controlled forward, neutral, and reverse operation, trainsounds sound system with chuffing, steam whistle, and bell, a powerful AC motor, an operating headlight, a metal locomotive body, frame, and trucks, a metal tender body and trucks. The rolling stock features die-cast metal trucks with operating latch couplers, metal frames and bodies, an operating dump car, a present load in dump car, illuminated interior in observation car, a Santa figure in observation car and they are individually boxed. Track and transformer not included.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-8: Like New based on visual appearance. This item appears to have been run sparingly, and displays overall signs of very light previous use. The original paint is in great shape, and the rest of the unit displays a like-new overall finish. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
