Here is an O Gauge Chesapeake & Ohio Legacy Allegheny Steam Locomotive and Tender #1608 from Lionel. The Allegheny was a superb machine that seems to have measured bigger than the Big Boy. It's purpose was to handle the heavy coal trains and steep grades of the Chesapeake & Ohio and Virginian, and the Allegheny produced an astonishing 110,200 pounds of tractive effort. Although these locomotives was crafted for power, at times they were known to reach speeds up to 60 mph- and on occasion they even pulled passenger trains.
