This is a Lionel 624 Vintage O Chesapeake & Ohio NW-2 Powered Diesel Locomotive from 1952-54. This locomotive features a die-cast frame, plastic shell, decorative bell, motor, 3-position forward-neutral-reverse-unit, an operating headlight, operating metal knuckle couplers, and metal wheels.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-4: Fair based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The overall appearance of this item may be drastically improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The steam hole on the roof of the car has been broken off and is not included. The trim pieces have been bent. When tested the locomotive does move in both directions but a loud noise can be heard the entire time. The front light would not come on when tested.
