This is a Lionel 6560 Vintage O Lionel Lines Bucyrus Erie Crane Car w/Gray Cab from 1955. The 6560 Bucyrus Erie operating crane car enjoyed the longest run of any postwar Lionel crane car. At first glance the 6560 appears to be a carryover of the 6460. Externally this looks to be correct, internally it is very different. The 6560 was redesigned to incorporate many cost savings features. This crane car features bar-end trucks, a rotating cab that swivels 360 degrees, a hook and boom that can be raised and lowered, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item shows scratches, scrapes, and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item shows rust on the chassis. The lettering o this item is faded. There is white residue on the cranks. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
