Per our grading of this item, it is equivalent to the TCA rating of R-2: Fair -- A non-professional restoration. Color, texture and finish are clearly different from the original. Other items, such as non-authentic wiring are also evident. This item has been custom painted and decaled by the previous owner. There is imperfections in the paint. The front wheel base does not pivot on turns and causes it to de-rail. The locomotive is operational, but it made a loud audible noise during operation. This item has various spots of rusting on the underframe. Parts of the metal rails are bent. There are various spots of paint loss and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The trucks and wheel sets have discoloration and paint loss. The wheels show heavy run-time. Overall, this item shows signs of previous heavy use and storage. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Restored - Fair.
