Here is a Lionel 6-9536 O Gauge Blue Comet "Barnard" Baggage Car, Lionel 6-9537 O Gauge Blue Comet "Halley" Combine Car, Lionel 6-9540 O Gauge Blue Comet "Tempel" Observation Car #9540, Lionel 6-9538 O Gauge Blue Comet "Faye" Pullman Passenger Car #9538 and a Lionel 6-9539 O Gauge The Blue Comet "Westphal" Pullman Passenger Car. These cars feature plastic construction, diecast trucks, metal wheels and axels and operating knuckle couplers.
This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-4: Very Good based on visual appearance. The wheels show average run-time. The previous owner has done a few customizations on these cars. These customizations include repainted the end caps a darker blue, repainted the yellow parts, magnet boards on the Halley car, placed a stickers that say "United States Mail Railway Post Office" on Halley, sticker that says "Railway Express Agency Inc." and "Baggage" on Barnard. Westphal is missing the doors on one end of the car. The handles on some of the cars are broken. Some of the wheel sets on these cars are loose. Passenger cars Faye and Tempel are missing wheels. There are scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of these cars shell and chassis. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original boxes are not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Restored - Very Good.
