This is a Marklin 37786 Digital DB AG ICE 3 MF High Speed Powered Rail Car Train with Sounds. It is German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) class 406, and is the version for service to France. Included is (1) Type 406.0 End Car-1st class, (1) Type 406.1 Transformer car-1st class, (1) Type 406.3 “BordBistro“ Dining Car, (1) Type 406.6 Transformer Car-2nd class, and (1) Type 406.5 End Car-2nd class. The train is named “Forbach-Lorraine“ and runs between Frankfurt/Main and Paris. The train comes in a 5-car version and features an mfx digital decoder, controlled high-efficiency propulsion, long-distance headlights, built-in sound effects module, 2 axles powered, traction tires, detailed engineer’s cabs in end cars, power pickup changeover feature with power picked up in the end car at the front of the train, special close couplings with guide mechanism, interior lighting is supplied with power by means of a continuous electrical connection through the entire train, pantographs are only mechanically functional; they do not pick up power from catenary, headlights / marker lights together with the interior lighting will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally, and direction-dependent long-distance headlights which change over with the direction of travel. The lights along with sound functions for an air horn, station announcements, and a warning tone for the doors being closed, can be controlled digitally with the 6021 Control Unit or with MÄrklin Systems. The total train length is: 56“.
These items have been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. These items show some scratches and spots of paint loss on the shell and chassis. These items are in excellent overall condition, free of broken trim pieces. These items show some signs of light previous use. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
