This is a Marx 35150 Stream Line Electrical Train Set. Included is a 4-6-2 Steam Locomotive and Coal Tender, a tinplate vista dome car, a tinplate coach car, and a tinplate observation car, a transformer, and (8) straight 10" track sections and (8) Curved 10" track sections. The locomotive features a diecast shell, 2-position reverse unit, an operating headlight, metal handrails and side rods, a decorative bell, 4-6-2 wheel set, metal trucks on tender, simulated coal load and rear wedge coupler, metal wheels and axles. It was not manufactured with a smoke unit. The passenger cars feature metal trucks, wedge couplers, passenger silhouetted window strips, metal wheels and axles, and they measure approximately 11" in length.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. These items show scratches, dents, and paint loss in various areas of the shells, bodies, detail pieces, chassis, and bases. These items show rust on the shells, chassis, bodies and bases. The window inserts on the passenger cars are scratched, partially pushed in, and dirty. The lettering on these items is partially faded. The rails on the locomotive and tender are bent. The couplers on these items are bent. The transformer shows faded lettering and stickers on the body. The cord is worn and show scratches on it. The track sections show scratches, discoloration, and black specks on the rails and ties. The track sections show rust on the rails and ties. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. These items ran and lit up when tested but one of the passenger cars flickered if moved.
