One separately sold AA battery is required. Continuous running time: about four hours. The assembled plastic gearbox has only two cables, which eliminates the difficult assembly of the power unit. Gear ratio: 280:1. Speed: about 1.67 cm/s. (The model moves 1m in about 60 seconds.). The body is redesigned based upon in-depth research at the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. The body made of wood allows easy modifications and decoration with paint and pens. Materials: transparent plastic and wood (poplar-type). The model slowly moves forward swinging its head and tail from side to side, which gives it a more realistic look. The link mechanism moves forelegs and head, weight transfer moves the tail, and link and crank mechanism rotation moves hind legs. Challenge level: 2 (5 is the highest.).
