This is Proto 2000 21855 HO D&RGW 4427 PS2-CD High-Side Covered Hopper Kits (4-Pack). Includes #15252, 15297, 15328, 15374. As covered hoppers replaced box cars for hauling grain and other medium density materials, Pullman-Standard continued to produce its popular PS2-CD High Side Covered Hoppers. Between 1966 and 1971, over 10,000 rolled out of the Butler, Pennsylvania, shops for service with many railroads and private owners.
This series of HO Scale models are exacting replicas, featuring the correct 13 rib, high-side design of the prototype.
